南韓首爾中央地方法院19日就總統「閨密干政門」舉行庭前會議，事件主角崔順實首次出庭，否認一切罪名。朴槿惠總統也透過辯護律師團主張，國會對她違憲違法的指控均不屬實，沒有理由對她彈劾。還說，如果對崔順實等的參政比例加以量化，與總統的施政總量相比還不足1％。

另外，朴槿惠總統日前遭國會彈劾而停職，國會繼而將彈劾建議案送交憲法法院，朴槿惠方面16日向法院提出答辯書。辯護律師表示，國會列舉5項違憲和8項違法行為不屬實，並要求憲法法院否決或駁回彈劾審判的請求。
